How to play
1Find the entrance and the exit
Two dark tabs sit on the edge of the grid. The arrow on the first points in, the arrow on the second points out. Your track must run from one to the other.
2Read the numbers
Each number says how many squares in that row or column contain track. Turn a number green by hitting it exactly; go over and the board won't accept the piece.
3Draw one unbroken line
Straight pieces and corners join end to end. There are no branches, no loops and no crossings, and no piece can have an open end.
4Check the grey squares
Squares shaded grey already hold a piece. They're free clues, so build outward from them.

Questions
What is the Train Tracks puzzle?
Train Tracks is a logic puzzle where you lay one continuous railway from an entrance on the edge of the grid to an exit on another edge. The numbers beside the grid tell you how many squares in each row and column contain track, and every puzzle has exactly one solution.
How do you solve a Train Tracks puzzle?
Start with the clues: a 0 means that whole row or column is empty, and when a clue equals the number of squares still open, they all hold track. Then follow the line out from the entrance, using the counts to decide which way it must turn. The line can't branch, cross itself or leave a loose end.
Is Train Tracks free to play?
Yes. It's free in your browser with no download and no account needed.
How does the Daily puzzle work?
A new Easy, Medium and Hard board appears every day at midnight UTC, the same for every player. Finish one and your time goes on that day's leaderboard.
Do I need to sign up for the leaderboard?
No. Your device is given an anonymous player ID when you finish your first puzzle, and you can add a display name if you want one shown. There's no email or password.
